We are located at Sm 91-92 in the Bommasandra Industrial Area. It’s a big space because printing machines take up a lot of room. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of ink. It’s a strong scent that sticks to your clothes. We’ve got these massive printers that hum and vibrate the floor when they’re going full speed. Paper is everywhere—reams and rolls of it stacked up to the ceiling in some parts. We spend a lot of time checking the colors to make sure they aren't looking weird. My hands usually have a bit of blue or black ink on them by lunchtime. It’s just part of the job. The lighting is bright so we can see what we’re doing. Outside, the industrial area is always busy with trucks and people moving crates. We don't have a fancy reception desk; you just come in through the side door and someone will help you. It can get pretty humid in here, especially when the machines have been running for hours. We try to keep the fans going to move the air around. We’ve got a small kettle for tea in the corner. That’s about it for our office. We just focus on getting the prints done right and out the door so the customers aren't waiting. It’s a busy, messy, honest way to make a living.
