Savitha Transport

Savitha Transport is based out of Nagawara, right near the More supermarket. It’s a convenient spot for us because everyone knows where the More is, so it makes giving directions a lot easier. We deal with moving things from one place to another, which sounds simple but usually involves a lot of coordinating and some long nights. We have a small office area where we keep the logs and talk to the drivers. It isn't a polished corporate environment. There is usually some dust from the road and the smell of diesel if the trucks are parked nearby. We spend our time making sure things are loaded up and that the routes are clear. Nagawara can get pretty backed up with traffic, so we have to plan around that every single day. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the goods where they need to go. If a truck breaks down, we go out and help fix it or find a way around the problem. It is practical work and we have been doing it this way for a long time. People around Nagawara know us as the local transport guys. We don't do much advertising; we just rely on people seeing our trucks or stopping by the office near the store. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us moving.
