Sathish Tyre Works

Sathish Tyre Works is located in Virgo Nagar, over in the Panchkuva area. It’s a busy spot where there is always the sound of an air compressor running or a wrench hitting the floor. We spend most of our time outside or just under the shade of the roof, working on whatever rolls in. The ground is usually a bit dusty and there are stacks of old tyres piled up in the corner. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local drivers know where to find us when they have a flat or need something checked. It’s greasy work, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. There isn’t a fancy waiting room here, just a couple of stools if you want to sit while we work. The sun can be pretty hot in Panchkuva, so we keep a water pot near the door. We don't have a computer system to track everything; we just know what’s in stock by looking at the shelves. Dealing with tyres is heavy work, especially the bigger truck ones. Sometimes we have a lot of customers at once and things get a bit chaotic, but we just take them one by one. It’s a simple shop, and we like it that way. If the lights are on, we are probably here working on a wheel. We don't do fancy ads or anything. People just see the shop and stop by.
