Down on 1st Main Road in Yeshwantpur, you will find Sarvana Metals. The address is 41548, though people mostly just look for the stacks of metal. It is a very industrial part of the city. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the screech of a saw somewhere nearby. We deal with all sorts of metal pieces and scraps. Our yard is usually covered in bits of iron, aluminum, and copper. It is not a clean place; your clothes get dirty pretty much the moment you start working. We have a big weighing scale for the trucks that come in. Most of our time is spent moving heavy stuff around or sorting through piles of material to see what is what. The sun gets really hot in the open yard during the afternoons. We have a small tin-roofed office where we keep the books and take a break for water.
