Saroj Prints (Chennai) Private Limited

We spend most of our days here on Sami Pillai Street in Choolai. It’s a busy part of Chennai and the noise from the road usually finds its way inside our office at number 54. Saroj Prints has been around for quite a while now. We handle a lot of different printing jobs, mostly paper stuff and various bits for local businesses. Some mornings start pretty early when the machines need setting up. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular printing unit with some old desks and stacks of paper everywhere. You can usually smell the ink when you walk in. My father started things off and we just kept going with it. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We know the neighbors well, and sometimes we grab tea from the stall around the corner when things get too hectic. Dealing with the traffic on Sami Pillai Street is probably the hardest part of the day. Deliveries come and go, and we try to keep everything organized, though it gets messy sometimes during the busy season. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just find us because they live nearby or someone told them about our shop. It’s just how we do things here in this part of town. We stay busy enough and try to keep the machines running smooth so we don't fall behind on the orders we have.
