Sariful Islam

Sariful Islam is located on New BEL Road, specifically in the Terrace Val area. New BEL Road is always jumping with energy, plenty of cafes and young people around, but our spot is a bit more tucked away. Being on the terrace level means we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice when it’s hot outside. It’s not a large space. We have some basic furniture and a lot of things stacked up in the corners. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but you get a decent view of the street below. We mostly spend the day answering calls or dealing with the paperwork that comes in. It’s a very hands-on operation. There’s no fancy lobby or a person at a front desk. You just walk in and you'll see us working. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty because of the location, but we make do. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoons get long. It’s a simple setup, just the way we like it. Most of the people we work with are regulars who don't mind the modest surroundings. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn't really matter for the work we do. It’s just about being here every day and staying on top of the list of things we need to finish before heading out for the evening.
