Santosh Steel House

Our shop, Santosh Steel House, is located at 39/3 Ganigarpet, right near the busy Commercial Street area. We have been here for a good many years now. We sell all kinds of steel items, mostly things for the kitchen like pots, pans, and containers. The shop is quite small and we have things stacked up to the ceiling. It can get a bit cramped when there are a lot of customers inside. We do not have a fancy showroom or air conditioning. It is just a traditional shop where we know our inventory by heart. Commercial Street is always loud and crowded, so there is a lot of energy around us. We spend our days helping people find the right size of steel vessel or explaining the weight of different items. It is heavy work since steel isn't light. We have a few people working here who have been with us since the beginning. We know most of the other shop owners on the street. It feels like a small village sometimes, even in the middle of the city. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. It is a simple life of buying and selling. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If you need something sturdy for your home, we usually have it somewhere in the back.
