Santhosh General Store

Santhosh General Store is located at number 58 in Bommasandra. We are right on the Banahalli Main Road, so there is always noise from the trucks and bikes passing by. I have been running this store for a long time now. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You can find soap, biscuits, notebooks, and whatever else people around here need for their kitchens. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and I have to explain it to the regulars who come in early. The shelves are made of old wood and they creak a bit when I put heavy jars on them. I don't have a fancy computer for billing, just a small notebook and a calculator that has seen better days. The light inside is a bit dim because the front door is narrow. It gets dusty because of the road, so I spend a lot of my morning dusting off the packets. It's just me here most of the time, though sometimes my nephew comes to help when things get busy in the evenings. I know most of the people in the neighborhood by their names and what they usually buy. We don't do anything special here, just provide what the community needs on their way home. It’s a simple life and the days go by pretty fast. I enjoy the small talk with neighbors.
