Our address is 22/41 on Vittal Mallya Road. It’s an interesting place to be because there is so much happening all around us. Even though the street has changed a lot with fancy new buildings and shops, we’ve kept our store pretty basic. We focus on having the essentials that the locals and workers in the area need. The interior is functional with simple racks and a small counter where we handle the sales. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to raise our voices to be heard, but that's just life on this road. We’ve got a small storage area in the back that always seems to be overflowing with bags and boxes. It’s a bit of a puzzle trying to get everything to fit. We spend our days mostly organizing stock and helping customers find what they’re looking for. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We know where every single item is kept, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. Most people who come in are regulars who work in the nearby offices or live in the apartments close by. We just try to provide a reliable place for them to stop in and get what they need. We're just a small part of this big road and we're happy to stay here for now.
