Sangam Timber & Furnitures

You can find Sangam Timber & Furnitures at 41400 in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are located on the 11th Main in the 4th Block, right across from where the Garments Apparels building is. Our yard and workshop are usually full of different types of wood and planks. We do two main things here: we sell timber and we make furniture. It is a very dusty and noisy place to work. There is always the sound of a saw cutting through wood or someone using a planer. We make things like beds, dining tables, and window frames. The shop is not very fancy. It is a practical space where we do the work. RT Nagar is a busy area and the 11th Main has a lot of traffic, so we see a lot of people passing by every day. We are a small group of workers and we handle everything ourselves, from unloading the timber trucks to finishing the furniture pieces. Sometimes the work is very heavy and it takes a lot of effort to move the larger logs. We have been in this location for many years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep doing what we know, which is working with wood. It is a straightforward business and we just take each day as it comes, trying to finish the orders we have.
