San Impex

San Impex is located over by Bellandur Gate, specifically at the Alt Tc area in Kaikondanahalli on Sarjapur Road. Anyone who lives in Bangalore knows that this road is one of the busiest around. We spend a lot of time just watching the traffic crawl by from our windows. Our office is a functional space. We don’t have a lot of decorative stuff or expensive art. It’s mostly just shelves full of files and some samples of the goods we trade. We started this business because we knew the industry, and we’ve just kept at it. There are four or five of us in the office most days. We do everything from answering the emails to checking the packing lists ourselves. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us busy. The area around Kaikondanahalli has changed so much with all the new apartments and malls, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We usually get our lunch from one of the small places nearby. Sometimes when the monsoon is heavy, we get a few leaks in the ceiling, but we just put a bucket under it and keep working. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't put on any acts for our visitors. If you come by, you’ll see us exactly as we are, likely buried under a bit of paperwork and trying to figure out a shipping route. We’ve had some ups and downs, but we have stayed steady over the years.
