Samuel Transport

Started this transport thing a while back on Benniganahalli Ashram Road. It’s right near the Sudhir Weithment place, which everyone knows around here. Usually, it’s just us handling the trucks and making sure stuff gets where it needs to go. The road gets pretty busy in the mornings, especially with all the heavy vehicles moving in and out. We spend a lot of time just checking schedules and talking to drivers. My desk is right by the front door so I can see who’s coming in. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. Just some chairs, a few filing cabinets, and a lot of logbooks. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but that’s just how it is when you’re working near the weighbridge. We mostly deal with local loads. It’s honest work, keeping things moving through the city. Most of our guys have been around for years, so we all know how the traffic patterns change throughout the day. If you walk down from the main junction, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special, just black letters. We try to keep the yard organized so the trucks can turn around easily. It gets cramped when three of them show up at once. Usually, there is a stray cat hanging around the back where it’s quieter. We just keep our heads down and do the job day after day. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the bills paid.
