Salasar Carpets

Salasar Carpets is located at Salasar House, number 152. We’re right by Seppings Road and Hosur Road. It’s a bit of a landmark for those who know the area. Inside, it’s a different world from the noisy street outside. We have rolls of carpets and rugs stacked up everywhere. Some are thick and soft, others are more for offices and high traffic. It’s a lot of manual work, moving these heavy rolls around. My back feels it at the end of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom with spotlights. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see everything we have in stock. People come in to feel the textures and look at the colors. We try to be helpful without hovering too much. Sometimes we spend hours just helping someone pick the right shade of grey or blue. The dust from the fibers can be a bit much, so we keep the doors open for air. We’ve been at this location on Hosur Road for years. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We know the regulars and always have a stool for someone to sit on while they look. It’s just us and our carpets, trying to help people make their floors look a bit better. We don't do big ads. Usually, people just see us as they drive by or hear about us from a neighbor. That works fine.
