We are situated out on the Whitefield-Hoskote Road, specifically near Medimallasandra and Kannamangala. It is a bit of a trek to get out here from the main city, but we need the space for the iron and steel products we handle. The yard is usually full of heavy metal beams and rods. It can get very hot out there in the sun, and the wind blows the dust around quite a bit. We don’t have a polished office building. It is more of a functional space where we can keep our logs and take orders. Most of the guys here are used to heavy lifting and working with their hands. We have a couple of old trucks that we use for deliveries, and they require a lot of maintenance. Our day starts early before the sun gets too high. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the right grades of metal are being loaded. It is a simple, hardworking environment. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or corporate talk. We just tell you what we have in stock and how much it will cost. Most of our customers are builders who have been coming to us for years. They know the way out here and they know we will give them a fair deal. It is tough work, but it keeps us busy and we are thankful for that. The road is always busy but the yard is where the real work happens.
