Sai Cargo

Sai Cargo operates out of Dasanapura Hobli, specifically on the Makali Allur Main Road. It’s a busy stretch of road where a lot of heavy traffic passes through every single day. Our location is basically a large shed with a small partitioned area for the office work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the yard checking on the cargo. The Allur Main Road can get very congested, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get their loads out before the night shifts. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the gate and keep us company. The office itself is pretty basic—just some plastic chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We don’t use any fancy software; mostly just handwritten notes and a few files stored in a metal cabinet. It gets quite hot in the afternoons under the tin roof, so we usually have the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. Most of the people we work with are regulars who have been using us for years. They know exactly where to find us on the main road in Makali. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just make sure the cargo gets to where it needs to go without too much fuss. The life here is dictated by the arrival and departure of the trucks that roll in and out all day long.
