About Sai Balaji Paying Guest – Tourism in Bengaluru
Sai Balaji Paying Guest is right at 153 Marathahalli, very close to the Nehru Bridge. Because we are so near the bridge, there is always the loud sound of traffic passing by, but most residents get used to it after a few nights. We have rooms for men who work in the nearby IT parks or the local shops around here. It is a tall building and we try to keep it as clean as we can, though the dust from the main road is a bit of a constant problem for us. We provide three meals a day, which is mostly standard south Indian food like rice and rasam. There is a small common area with a television where people sit and chat after they finish their dinner. We have some basic rules about timings and outside guests, mostly just to keep things orderly for everyone who lives here. The rooms have bunk beds or single beds depending on what you prefer and what is available. We do not have a big staff, just me and a few guys who handle the daily cooking and the cleaning. Sometimes the water heater takes a long time to warm up in the cold mornings, so people have to wake up a bit early. Marathahalli is a very crowded place, but being near the bridge makes it easy for people to catch a bus to almost anywhere. We have been running this for years and it is usually full.
