Saffron Auto Industries

You can find us at F-27/28/29 in the Ami Akhand Anand Society. We are right near the Arvind Estate and the C.T.M. area, which is close to National Highway Number 8. Being near the highway means it’s always noisy with trucks passing by, but it’s good for getting things shipped out. Saffron Auto Industries occupies a few units here. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the auto parts and metal pieces everywhere. We’ve got oil stains on the floor and tools hanging on the walls, which is how an auto place should look, I guess. The crew here is mostly local guys who know their way around an engine. We don’t really do fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over tea in the morning about what needs to be fixed or manufactured that day. Amraiwadi is a busy industrial patch, so there’s always something going on. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just work around it. We’ve been here long enough that the nearby shopkeepers are all friends. We don't have a big front office or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on a machine. It’s a straightforward business. We just take care of the auto components and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s loud, greasy, and busy, but that’s just how it is here.
