Sachdev Roadlines Pvt Ltd is located at 3-B Shivaji Nagar. We are on the 3rd Main, right near the old Elgin Theatre. Anyone who has lived in this part of town knows where the theatre is. It’s a real landmark, even if it’s seen better days lately. Shivaji Nagar is always packed with people. There are shoppers, cycles, and cars everywhere you look. It's a loud place, but it has a lot of energy that keeps you moving. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have heavy wooden cabinets for all the transport documents and ledgers. Being a Private Limited company sounds formal, but we are just a small group of people working together every day. The Sachdev family started this a long time ago. I’ve been here for many years myself. The 3rd Main gets very congested in the afternoons. Sometimes it takes twenty minutes just to get around the block to the main road. We have a small window that looks out onto the street. I like to watch the chaos below while I’m on the phone with the customers. The office smells a bit like old paper and ink. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that spin fast and keep the air moving. It’s an honest way to make a living. Roadlines is a tough business because things always go wrong on the road. You just have to deal with it as it happens.
