Saagaram Sea Foods

Down here at Sahara Complex, we have been running Saagaram Sea Foods for a bit now. Being in B. Narayanpura means we get a lot of local regulars coming in from the nearby houses. It's a busy little area, especially in the mornings when the new stock arrives. Dealing with fish and seafood means you have to be quick with everything. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything stays cold enough. It's not a glamorous job, your hands get wet and cold all day long. But people need their fish for lunch and dinner, so we keep at it. The shop at number 118 isn't huge, but we make it work for us. We get different catches depending on the day and what is available at the docks. Sometimes there's a lot of variety, sometimes not so much. That's just how the sea works, even if we are here in the middle of the city. We talk to the suppliers very early in the day. Then we set everything up on the counters before the first customers arrive. We know many of the locals by face now. It’s interesting to see what everyone likes to cook at home. We just focus on getting the stock in and getting it out to the people. The floor stays wet because we have to wash it down all the time with the hose. It's hard work, standing on your feet for hours. Sahara Complex is a familiar place for us. Just a regular day of dealing with ice.
