S S Fabrications is located at 49/1 BTM Layout, right inside the Minerva Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to the IBM building, so that’s a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The shop is usually noisy because of the welding and the cutting machines running all day long. It smells like burnt metal and grease, but that’s what a workshop should smell like, I guess. My father started this and now I help run things with a few other guys. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes covered in dust. We make all kinds of metal parts and frames. Sometimes the orders are big, and other times it’s just someone needing a small gate fixed. We try to get things done when we say we will, but sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down. That’s just life in the industrial estate. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. The BTM Layout area has grown so much around us. It used to be much quieter. Now there are trucks moving in and out of Minerva Industrial Estate all day. We just stay focused on the sparks and the metal. If you need something made, you can just bring a drawing or tell us what you’re thinking. We’ll figure it out. It isn't perfect, but it is what we do every single day.
