S R V Tent House

Down on the Anekal Chandapura main road, things are a bit more spread out, but it still gets plenty busy during the day. S R V Tent House is located right along that Muza road stretch. Most of our days are spent loading up the trucks with poles, heavy fabric, and stacks of plastic chairs. It’s physical work and it keeps us outdoors a lot of the time. When the weather is good, we are out at different sites setting things up, and when it rains, we’re back at the shop trying to keep everything dry and clean. The shop itself is mostly a storage space for all the gear we need for functions. It’s a bit of a mess of ropes and folded tents, but we have our own system for finding things when we are in a hurry. The traffic on the main road can be a real headache, especially when we’re trying to maneuver the bigger vehicles out of the lot. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a desk and some ledgers where we keep track of the booking dates. People usually just stop by or call us when they have a wedding or a local festival coming up. We’ve seen a lot of events over the years in the Anekal area. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. It's just how the business goes.
