S R Tent House

S R Tent House has been operating out of Austin Town 940 for a good number of years. This isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a warehouse where we store all the poles, fabric, and chairs. If there's a function or a festival happening in this part of town, there's a good chance some of our stuff is there. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. The equipment is heavy and takes a lot of effort to move around, especially when the weather is bad. We have different sizes of tents for different needs. Sometimes people just want a small canopy for a birthday in their yard, and other times it's a huge setup for a public event. Austin Town is a tight neighborhood, so we know most of the people around here. We don't really do much advertising because people just know where to find us when they need something. The yard can get pretty crowded with all the stacks of chairs and rolled-up carpets. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We work long hours, especially on weekends when most events happen. There’s always something that needs fixing or cleaning after it comes back from a job. We don’t have a website or anything; we just talk to people face to face. If you walk past 940 in Austin Town, you'll see us moving things around or checking the inventory for the next day.
