S R S Paying Guest is located in JP Nagar, right near the petrol pump. It’s a handy spot because the bus stop isn't far away. We’ve been running this for a few years now. It’s basically just a house converted into rooms for people who need a place to stay. Most of our residents work in the shops or offices around here. We provide beds and some storage for clothes. It gets a bit noisy near the main road sometimes, but you get used to it. The rooms are cleaned every other day. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us looking after the place. We make sure there is drinking water and the electricity stays on. If the power goes out, we have a small backup battery. It’s not a big fancy operation. We just provide a roof over people's heads for a decent price. You can find us easily if you look for the petrol pump and walk a bit. We see different faces every month, though some guys stay for a long time. There's a common area where people sit and talk in the evenings. It’s just a normal place for normal people. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep the rules simple so everyone gets along. It’s mostly about having a safe spot to sleep at night after a long day at work.
