S M R Transport

Our business, S M R Transport, is tucked away in the upper basement of the KSV Nilaya Building. The address is 13/20 Kalasipalyam New Extention, right inside the Srk Market. Being in Kalasipalyam means we are right in the heart of one of the busiest trading areas around. Even when it’s roasting outside, the basement stays relatively cool, though we have to keep the lights on all day. Moving goods for the shops in the market is our main focus. Loading and unloading crates and bags involves a lot of manual work. Our office part is just a small corner with a desk and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. Regular customers have been using us for years because they know exactly where to find us. Instead of fancy technology, we just use our phones and a few notebooks to track everything. Market crowds can get so thick that it’s hard to even walk, but we manage to get the work done anyway. This is a humble operation and we don't try to pretend otherwise. This basement has become like a second home to us over the years. Simple transport work for the people in the market is what we do, and we are happy to keep doing it. Every night we finish up, lock the gate, and head home to rest for the next day.
