S L V Tent House

We have been running S L V Tent House for quite some time now over here in Attibele at the 4th Cross. It is a busy spot near Ayyappa Nagar and there is always something going on with the local events. Most days we are just moving poles and heavy cloth around to make sure everything is ready for whatever function is coming up next. It is not easy work because the weather does not always cooperate and sometimes the wind makes setting up those big tents a real headache. My cousins and I usually handle most of the heavy lifting ourselves because finding good help is getting harder these days. We keep a lot of chairs and tables stacked up in the back of the shop. You know how it is with weddings and local festivals in this part of town, everything happens at once and then it gets quiet for a bit. People just walk in from the street to ask about prices and we try to give them a straight answer without any nonsense. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we keep our stuff. Sometimes we have to go quite far from Ayyappa Nagar to set things up if the customer asks nicely. We just focus on getting the tents standing straight and making sure the chairs aren't wobbly. It is a simple life and we have gotten used to the long hours especially during the marriage season when nobody gets much sleep.
