S L V Steel Furniture is sitting at number 14 on the 22nd Main in BTM Layout. If you walk down this road, you’ll see our shop with various steel cupboards and racks sitting near the entrance. We deal with all kinds of metal furniture, mostly stuff that’s built to last a long time. It’s a bit heavy to move things around, so we are always shuffling chairs and tables to make room for new stock. The sound of metal clanging is pretty common here. We sell mostly to people moving into new houses in BTM who need a sturdy wardrobe or a kitchen rack. The shop floor is concrete and can get a bit cold, but it works for what we do. We don't have any fancy interior design in the showroom; the furniture speaks for itself I suppose. Sometimes we are out back helping a customer load a heavy desk into their truck. It is a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying things all day long. We have been in this part of BTM for a good while now. The traffic on 22nd Main is always moving, but people still manage to pull over and check out the steel beds or shelves we have on display. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't do much online, mostly just folks walking in and seeing what we have on the floor that day. It is just a regular shop for everyday needs.
