I started this PG in JP Nagar near Crawford Market a few years back because there were so many people moving to the city for work who needed a simple place to stay. We are located at number 527, quite close to the Ganesh Temple. It’s a basic setup with rooms for boys and girls in separate sections. We provide three meals a day, and the cook makes pretty good sambar and rice, though sometimes the rotis are a bit hard if you come late for dinner. It's not a five-star hotel, but we keep the rooms as clean as we can. We have a washing machine on the roof that everyone shares, which can lead to some arguments about whose turn it is. The temple nearby means you hear the bells every morning, which some people like and others find a bit loud. Most of our guests are young guys working in IT or retail who just want a bed and some decent food after a long day. I live on the ground floor, so if there’s a plumbing issue or a light bulb goes out, people just knock on my door. We don’t have a big website or a fancy booking system; people just call me or walk in to see the rooms. It’s a safe place, and we try to make things easy for the people living here.
