Running a place like S L V Paying Guest Home in JP Nagar keeps us pretty busy every single day. We are located right at 527 near the Gurunanak Market. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets on weekends. We have people from all over staying here. It’s not a hotel so don’t expect a lobby or someone to carry your bags for you. We just provide a place to sleep and a bit of food for folks who are working nearby. The market is right there so if you need anything, you just walk out the door and find it. It can get a bit loud with the rickshaws honking but you get used to it after a night or two. I spend a lot of time checking the water tanks and making sure the kitchen is running okay. We’ve had a few leaks lately because the pipes are old but we fix them as they happen. It’s just how it goes with buildings in this part of town. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a home for people who need one for a while. Usually, the rooms fill up fast because JP Nagar is a popular spot. We try to keep things simple and honest. If the fan makes a noise, we fix it. If the food is late, it’s because the market was too crowded that morning. That's life here.
