S L V Fabricators

Hongasandra 41275 is where S L V Fabricators is located. It’s a dusty part of town, especially when the wind picks up. Our shop is mostly a big garage space with a high ceiling. We do a lot of welding here, so you’ll often see those bright flashes coming from behind the screens. The floor is littered with sparks and small bits of metal that we sweep up at the end of every shift. We have a big workbench that we built ourselves out of some old beams. It’s sturdy and holds everything we need. S L V Fabricators is a place where we get our hands dirty. There’s no air conditioning, just a couple of big industrial fans that move the hot air around. We wear heavy aprons and boots all day long. Sometimes we have a bit of a backlog, and the shop gets crowded with finished gates and frames waiting to be picked up. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they just shout for one of us over the noise of the grinders. We usually have a thermos of tea going throughout the day. It’s hard work and it makes your back ache by evening, but there’s a good feeling in seeing something you built from scratch. We’ve been in Hongasandra for a while and don't plan on moving. It’s where we belong.
