S L N Tent House

Down here on Hennur Main Road, things are always moving, and at S L N Tent House, we are usually right in the middle of it. Our base is out toward the Dhanorie Lahgaon Road area. We spend most of our time loading and unloading trucks with heavy iron poles, rolled-up carpets, and stacks of plastic chairs. Setting up for a local function is hard work, especially when the weather isn't cooperating. We’ve had many days where we were racing against the rain to get a canopy up. It’s not just about tents though, we handle the lighting and the seating too. The storage space is a bit of a jumble with different colored fabrics and poles of all lengths leaning against the walls. We don't have a fancy office to meet people in; usually, we just talk shop right there among the gear. Some of our crew has been with us for years, so they know exactly how to stake a tent so it won't budge. It’s a physical job and our backs definitely feel it by the end of a long weekend. We’ve seen all sorts of celebrations, from small family gatherings to big community events. We try to keep our equipment in decent shape, though the chairs get scuffed up over time. If you head down the road toward Dhanorie, you’ll likely see our trucks parked out front. It’s straightforward work for people who need a bit of shade or a place for their guests to sit.
