We are based out of Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, right at 96/1 Gandhi Road. If you find Mehsana Steel, we are tucked just behind it. It is a bit of a dusty area with all the construction and steel work going on around us. We spend most of our time out at work sites rather than sitting in the office. Our job is mostly about walls—painting them, fixing them up, and making sure they look right from both the outside and inside. It is messy work. We usually have buckets of paint and rolls of tape lying everywhere. I started this because I liked seeing a house change after a fresh coat of paint. We do not have a big sales team; it is usually just me or one of the guys talking to the homeowners. We show them what we can do and then we get to work. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate and we have to wait for the rain to stop before we can finish an exterior job. It can be frustrating, but that is the nature of the business. We focus on getting the lines straight and the colors right. People around Gandhi Road know where to find us if they need something done. We are not doing any high-tech stuff, just honest manual work with brushes and rollers. It is a long day usually, but seeing a finished room makes it worth it.
