S K Steel Company is out on 89B Whitefield Bopal Guma Road. We sit right opposite the I O C station. It’s a dusty spot with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day. We deal with all sorts of steel rods, sheets, and beams. People come here when they are building something, like a house or a small shed. We have stacks of metal everywhere in the yard. It’s not a quiet place. You hear the sound of metal clanking and the crane moving from morning till night. We’ve been operating here for years now. The road outside can get pretty crowded with traffic heading toward the main highway. We just handle the orders and help load the trucks up. Most of our customers are local builders or guys doing their own home construction. We don't have a fancy showroom to show off. It's just the warehouse and a small space where we keep the accounts. We write everything down and keep track of the inventory as best we can. Sometimes the price of steel goes up or down, and we have to tell people that. It’s hard work, moving the heavy stuff around, but it’s what we do. If you need a specific size for a project, we usually have it or can get it. Just look for the big sign across from the petrol pump. It’s a basic yard but it stays busy.
