S J Steels

If you head down towards the Shivajyothi Township in Haraluru, you’ll find us tucked away at No. 34/1. We’re right in the HSR Layout area, which has grown a lot lately. S J Steels is basically just us working with metal all day. It’s heavy work and can get pretty dusty, especially when the trucks are coming in and out from the Agra Post side. We deal with a lot of construction projects around the neighborhood. You see a lot of new houses going up, and we end up supplying a lot of the structural stuff they need. The office is small, and there’s usually a pile of invoices sitting on the desk that needs sorting. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just answering the phone and making sure the orders are cut right. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to move or organize in the yard. Working in HSR Layout means we see a lot of the same contractors every week. We know how they like their stuff delivered. It’s a practical business, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, handle the steel, and try to keep things moving as smoothly as the Bangalore traffic allows, which isn't always easy. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we just get on with it.
