S. J. Steel

We've been at Plot No-168 for a while now. Most people know us because we're right near the bus stand on Cottonpet Main Road. It’s a busy spot, but we like it here. S. J. Steel is just what the name says. We deal with steel items every day. It gets dusty and loud sometimes, but that’s just how the work goes. We keep a lot of stock in the yard. If someone comes in looking for something specific, we try to find it in the piles. The traffic on Cottonpet Main Road can be a headache during the mornings, especially near Gateway Comforts, but we usually open early to get things moving. My cousin helps out with the loading sometimes. It’s not a fancy office or anything. We just have our desks and the steel. People stop by on their way from the bus stand to ask about prices. We don't do big advertisements. Most of our customers are just people from around the neighborhood or contractors who have worked with us for years. It’s honest work. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult out in the yard, so we have to cover everything up quickly. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the big gate near the station. We’re usually there until late evening unless it’s a holiday. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here in Kengeri. I remember when we first moved in, the road was much quieter, but things change. We just keep doing what we do.
