S H Hydraulics & Technical Solutions is located over at number 20 in the Kara Bank Colony, right on the Uttarahalli Main Road. It’s a pretty good spot because everyone knows the main road, though the traffic can get backed up pretty bad in the mornings. We work mostly with hydraulic systems, which means a lot of oil, seals, and heavy metal parts. Our workshop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the space. We spend our days fixing pumps or putting together custom kits for people who come in with broken machinery. The guys in the shop have been doing this for a long time, so they can usually tell what’s wrong with a part just by looking at it. It is not the kind of job where you wear a suit; we are usually in work clothes that have a few stains on them. We have a lot of regular customers from around the colony and the nearby industrial patches who trust us to get their equipment back in working order. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and we know our trade well. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if a customer is in a real bind. It’s just how we operate. We are just a local crew trying to keep things moving for our neighbors.
