S. M Machinery Movers is based in the Chandrappa Building on J. B Link Road in Maruthi Nagar, which is part of Jigani Anekal. This area is known for all the factories and big industries, so it makes sense for us to be here. We spend our days dealing with heavy stuff—things that most people couldn't even budge an inch. Our office in the Chandrappa Building is pretty basic. We’ve got a few sturdy chairs and a big table where we spread out the maps and the schedules. Moving machinery isn't easy work; it’s sweaty and loud and sometimes quite frustrating. Jigani is a long way from the middle of Bangalore, but it’s where the real heavy lifting happens. We know the roads around Anekal like the back of our hands, including all the potholes that can cause trouble for a trailer. The air out here is a bit dusty from all the construction and the granite factories nearby. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We are just a group of guys who know how to move big equipment from point A to point B without breaking anything. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. When we aren't out on a site, you’ll find us in Maruthi Nagar, probably cleaning the trucks or checking the chains and making sure the ropes are still strong enough for the next job. It’s a simple life.
