S H Associates is over in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, at 21/1. Most people just call it RT Nagar. It’s a busy part of town, but our street is okay. We’ve been working out of this space for some years now. It’s not a large company with a lot of departments. It’s just a few of us handling the daily needs of our clients. The office is a bit crowded with books and papers, but we know where everything is. We don't have those fancy modern desks; ours are the old-fashioned kind that have been here since we opened. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy enough. The neighborhood has everything we need, so we don't have to go far for lunch or supplies. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just like doing a decent job for the people who trust us. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re deep into a project. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We don't put on a show for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us just as we are, usually surrounded by files and drinking coffee. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the details and try to keep our clients happy without making things too complex.
