Our office is situated in the 560032 area of Bangalore, which is a busy part of Karnataka. It is a large building and there are a lot of people coming in and out at every hour because the work never really stops. We aren't really the type to have a lot of fancy decorations; it is mostly just rows of desks and people with headsets on. The commute to this part of town can be quite a struggle with the Bangalore traffic, so most of us arrive a bit tired but ready to start. We have a small break room where the coffee machine is always running, which is probably the most popular spot in the place. Even though we are part of a global name, the atmosphere inside is just regular people trying to get their work finished on time. We deal with a lot of numbers and data, so it can be a bit quiet on the floor when everyone is concentrating. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so you’ll see people wearing sweaters even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a lot of meetings for no reason, we just get our tasks and try to do them right. It’s a practical way to work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place over the years. It works for us and keeps us busy.
