S G S Fasteners is a small operation based out of number 5 in Electronic City. We mostly deal in industrial fasteners like bolts, screws, and nuts for the companies around here. It's a lot of inventory management. Our shelves are stacked high with boxes of all different sizes. People usually come to us when they need a specific type of screw that they can't find in a regular hardware store. Electronic City is a big place, but we've been in this spot for a while. It’s mostly just us counting out parts and keeping track of what’s in stock. The office part is pretty small because most of the space is taken up by the metal stock. We don't do much marketing or anything. Local contractors and maintenance guys just know we are here. It's a straightforward way to make a living. Some days we are just moving heavy boxes around all day. It gets hot in the warehouse during the summer months. We try to keep things organized so we can find what people need quickly. It's not a fancy tech company like some of the neighbors, just a basic supply shop. We’ve seen the area grow a lot since we started. There’s always more construction going on, which keeps us busy. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local industrial community. We are usually here all day.
