S B Interior & Furniture is located on Honey Park Road in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are up on the first floor of building number 08, right on the main road. Because we are on the main road, it’s easy to find but it also means it’s quite busy outside. You can see the traffic and people going about their business from our windows all day long. We have some of our work samples around the place, so there’s always a bit of sawdust or fabric scraps on the floor. It’s a working space more than a fancy showroom. We spend a lot of our time sketching things out or talking about measurements and materials. The floor is a bit uneven in one corner, so we had to put a piece of wood under one of the tables to keep it from rocking. We’ve been in RT Nagar for a while and we like the community here. There are a lot of families and other small businesses around. Sometimes the delivery of materials takes a bit longer than we’d like because of the narrow streets and traffic, but we manage somehow. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and the materials. It’s honest work and we do it right there in our first-floor space.
