Laxmi Steel Works

Laxmi Steel Works is located at RMJ Towers, which is right on the 7th Cross in RT Nagar. If you know the area, you know it can get really crowded with all the traffic and people walking around. We are at No. 37, and it is a solid place for a steel business. The sound of metal hitting the floor is something you just get used to when you work here. We have stacks of steel rods and sheets leaning against the walls. It is a bit of a heavy job, moving all that metal around every day. The air usually has that metallic smell, and our clothes always end up with a bit of grey dust on them by the time we leave. We have a small group of guys who have been here for years. We do not really bother with fancy office chairs or anything like that. We just have some sturdy tables and a lot of tools. RT Nagar is a good spot because we are close to everything, even if parking is a total nightmare sometimes. When we are not working on a specific order, we are usually cleaning the equipment or organizing the scrap pile. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The RMJ Towers building is easy enough to find once you get onto the 7th Cross. We just try to keep things organized so we can find what we need quickly. It is loud and a bit messy, but that is how a steel shop is. We don't mind the noise much.
