Rrr Five Metal Jewellery

You can find our little workshop over at No 109OK Road in Ragipet. It’s a crowded part of town, but we’ve been here long enough to feel right at home. Working with five metals, or what people call panchaloha, is a very old tradition. It’s hard work because we have to melt down the different metals and get the mix just right. The shop is pretty small and it gets very hot when the furnace is going. We have our tools spread out on old wooden benches that have seen better days. There is usually the sound of hammering or grinding coming from inside. We don't use many big machines because most of the work needs a human touch. Ragipet is known for this kind of stuff, so we fit right in. We don't have a fancy showroom or a desk for a receptionist. You just walk in and see us working with our sleeves rolled up. There's metal dust on the floor and the walls are a bit stained from the smoke. It’s just a regular workshop. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because their parents or neighbors told them where to go. We just focus on making the jewelry one piece at a time. It’s what we know, and we’ve been doing it at this same address for a long time now.
