Royal Selection

Royal Selection is up on the first floor at number 210, right by the Sattadhar Cross Road in Sultanpet. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, but we also have to carry everything up those steps every single morning. It is a lot of work when new stock arrives, but you get used to it after a few months. The cross road downstairs is always a mess of scooters and people shouting, but it stays a bit quieter up here where we are. We have rows of things lined up, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space to put new items. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to really deal with that right now. Most people find us because they saw the sign from the street or someone told them to come up. We spend a lot of time just moving things from one side of the room to the other to make sure everything fits. The ceiling fan wobbles a little bit if we put it on high, so we usually keep it on the medium setting. It’s not a big fancy showroom, just a place where we keep our items and talk to people who come in. We try to keep things neat, but by the end of the day, there are usually scraps and boxes everywhere.
