If you’re looking for Royal Home Furnitures, we’re located at 58/3 Singasandra, on the 7th Main. It’s near the Gurukrupa Petrol Bunk in the S P J Reddy Building. The address sounds a bit complicated, but once you’re on Triveni Road, we aren't too hard to spot. We have sofas, beds, and tables squeezed into the showroom, so it’s a bit of a maze walking through it. I started this place because I noticed people in the neighborhood needed decent furniture without having to travel all the way into the city. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a fair amount of time dusting off the wood and the fabric. It’s just me and a couple of guys who help with the deliveries. Moving a heavy wardrobe up a narrow flight of stairs is the hardest part of the job, and we’ve had our fair share of sore backs. We don't have a glossy catalog or a team of salespeople. If you come in, you just talk to me. I’ll tell you what the frames are made of and if the cushion is going to last. Sometimes we have tea and just chat about what’s happening in Singasandra. It’s a local business, and we like it that way. We just want to make sure people have a comfortable place to sit at home at the end of the day. Nothing fancy, just good solid furniture for local homes.
