Royal Furnishings

We set up Royal Furnishings over at 128/2A Magadi Balu Complex. We are right near the Ganesha Temple, so many people stop in after they finish their prayers. We do a lot of curtains, cushions, and sofa covers. The shop is full of fabric rolls and catalogs. It can get a bit crowded inside when we have a lot of new stock arriving. We aren't a big chain, just a local shop in this part of town. People bring in their old cushions to get them recovered. We also help with curtains for new apartments coming up nearby. Sometimes it takes a few days to get the stitching done if we are backed up with orders. We try to keep things simple. You come in, look at the cloth, and tell us the size. We don't do fancy interior design stuff, just the practical fabric work. The lighting in the shop isn't great but you can see the colors well enough during the day. We’ve known the neighbors around the Magadi area for years. It’s a busy road so there’s always noise outside. We spend most of the day measuring and cutting. It’s a lot of manual work. We keep the scrap pieces in bags in the corner. If you need something for your windows or a chair, we are usually here from morning till night. We have samples of different materials like velvet and cotton. It's a bit cluttered but we know where everything is.
