Roshan Steel

We spend most of our time here at 41560 in JP Nagar, right on the 15th Cross. It’s a busy spot near 4th Main and the noise of the traffic is pretty much constant from morning until we close up for the night. The steel business is heavy work, so you’ll usually find us moving things around or checking the inventory in the back. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a practical space where we get things done. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a while now and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but our routine stays mostly the same. My desk is usually covered in papers and notes because there is always something to track when it comes to orders and deliveries. Sometimes people find it hard to spot the entrance because of the trucks parked nearby, but once you’re inside, it’s just us doing our jobs. We don't have a big marketing team or a lot of staff, so when you come by, you’re usually talking to one of the people who actually handles the metal. The floors get dusty and the air smells like iron, which is just part of being in this industry. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a working yard first and foremost. We usually take our lunch breaks together when things quiet down for a bit. It’s a straightforward life here at Roshan Steel.
