Rosangel Sea Foods

You can find Rosangel Sea Foods over on Brigade Road at number 25. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We deal with fish and other seafood that comes in from the coast. Keeping everything cold is our biggest job. We use a lot of ice, and you can usually hear the sound of it being shoveled into the bins. The shop has that smell of the ocean, which some people don't like, but we’re used to it. We have a few big freezers and some display counters where we put out the catch of the day. It’s not a fancy restaurant, just a place to buy good fish. We’ve had the same customers coming in for years. They know we’ll tell them honestly if the prawns are particularly good or if the mackerel is just okay today. The floor is made of stone and we keep it hosed down. We don't wear uniforms, just aprons to keep the water off our clothes. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on Brigade Road, which is a real headache. But we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest supplier in the city. We just want to provide what people in the neighborhood need for their dinner. The lights are a bit dim in the back corner, but we know where everything is.
