Rock Land

So, we are over here at Vivekananda Nagar, number 67. People usually find us easily enough once they get onto the main stretch. It’s been quite a few years since the sign first went up for Rock Land. The building isn’t anything fancy, just a solid place where we keep things organized as much as we can. Most mornings start with unlocking the front gate and maybe sweeping the dust off the front step. The neighborhood has changed a bit over time, but we are still right here. Sometimes the traffic gets a bit heavy outside, especially during the peak hours, but inside it stays pretty much the same. We deal with whatever comes through the door. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff, making sure things are where they should be. If you walk past the big tree on the corner, you’re basically there. We don’t really do much in the way of big announcements or anything like that. We just open up, do the work, and then head home when it gets dark. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. Some people ask why we picked this spot, but it just made sense at the time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but for now, they do the job just fine. We have a few chairs for anyone who needs to sit for a minute. That’s really all there is to it at number 67. We just show up every day.
