We operate Road Links India Pvt Ltd out of 60/61 in the Kalasipalyam New Extension area. If you’ve ever been to Kumber Gundi, you know it’s a whirlwind of activity with buses and trucks everywhere. Our office is right in the middle of all that chaos. It’s a busy place with people coming in and out at all hours to check on their shipments or drop off papers. We’ve got a few desks and a lot of logbooks where we track where the vehicles are. The phone rings pretty much non-stop, mostly drivers calling in or customers asking when their goods will arrive. There isn't much in the way of decoration here, just some old calendars on the wall and plenty of dust from the street. We don't have a fancy waiting room; usually, people just stand around the desk and talk. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, even if it means more noise from the outside. We’ve been in the transport game long enough to know that things rarely go exactly to plan, so we spend a lot of time fixing small problems and making sure the loads get moved. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of job, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea guy stops by and that's the highlight of the morning for the whole crew.
