Revathi Fancy & General Stores

If you walk down Magadi Main Road, you will see the Munikrishanappa Building. That is where I run Revathi Fancy & General Stores. It’s a bit of a mix here. On one side, I have the fancy items like hair clips, ribbons, and small gifts. On the other side, it’s all the general stuff like soap and batteries. I like having the variety because you never know what someone is going to walk in and ask for. The building itself is old but sturdy. My shop is not very large, so I have to use every inch of wall space for hooks and shelves. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes, but I know where everything is kept. The road outside is always full of traffic, which brings in a lot of people who are just passing through. I’ve lived in this area for years, so I’ve seen how much it has changed. I start my day by dusting the glass cases. The dust from the main road is quite a problem, so I’m always cleaning. I don’t have a fancy mission or anything. I just want to make sure I have what people need when they stop by. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small fancy items, but it keeps me busy. Most evenings are spent talking to the regulars who live nearby.
